CTM was created in 2000 by Corinne Estrada, Managing Founder of Agenda and Damien Whitmore, then Director of Communications at Tate, now Director of Public Programmes at the Victoria and Albert Museum, and our long standing President and inspiration. The Conference initially took place in the Louvre, Paris to introduce Tate Modern to the international art scene. Within ten years the conference has attracted over 1000 delegates from 40 countries all over the world.
This year, CTM has been endorsed by ICOM as the reference conference for communication and marketing in the arts world.
