Communicating the Museum

IMCA-Awards - International Museum Communication Awards

An event, that brings together professionals from both, agencies and museums, in order to celebrate the best visual campaigns.

The IMCA aims to recognise creative excellence in the museum industry as well as to encourage arts organisations to find original and inventive ways to communicate. The awards are a great opportunity to increase awareness of how museums, art institutions and galleries use design to communicate their brand values at a local and international level.

The Awards will recognise the best in design and communication in 4 categories: Corporate Design, Exhibition Campaign, Integration and Innovation.

Entry is open to all non-commercial, non-profit museums, art institutions and galleries. Private museums and foundations can also participate. Biennales and art centres, which do not have a permanent collection, may also enter.

The event will be held in Brussels on 29 November 2007 and the Grand Jury will be chaired by Damien Whitmore, Director of Programming of V&A Museum (UK).
